Provided for you below are some of the key areas to consider, while planning for your new shower enclosure.
There is more to consider than you think, when it comes to your new shower enclosure purchase!
During the planning stages of the addition or remodel of a new shower enclosure, there are many items to consider.
These are just a few of the questions we ask all of our potential customers during the consultation and buying process.
As with any purchase, you want to be informed of your choices and gain all the necessary information available, so as to make the right decisions – before it’s too late!
Preparing the surface
Make certain that the door curb as well as any seats or ledges are slightly sloped to the inside of the enclosure. By doing so, no water will stand or leak out of the shower area.
Shower Doors positioning
Any adjacent doors, such as closet doors, should be considered, so as to not impede the operation of the shower door.
Shower head position
Consider the direction of the shower head, when planning door placement. Direct spray to the door is not recommended.
It is always a good idea to understand your own personal preferences first. What do you like about your shower enclosure now? What don’t you like?
